We were fortunate enough to have Guangqun Huang, MD, PhD join us for our research meeting this week and give a guest lecture on microwave ablation!

Dr. Huang is Professor at Sun-Yat-Sen University in Shenzhen, China who specializes in minimally invasive procedures for thyroid surgery. His technique for using microwave ablation for thyroid nodules and selected cancers is also used at Tulane. We hope to see him again soon!
